500th U.S. Arms Airlift to Israel Ignites Protests Amid Ongoing Gaza Genocide

As Israel’s genocide in Gaza approaches its 11th month, pro-Palestinian activists are once again rallying, urging President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to stop supplying arms to Israel. The Biden administration recently sent its 500th airlift of weapons to Israel since October 7, alongside over 100 sea shipments, making nearly two arms deliveries per day. Despite Democratic claims of seeking a ceasefire, these actions demonstrate continued support for Israel’s assault on Gaza, where over 40,000 Palestinians have been killed.

U.S. military veterans have also joined the protests, condemning the government's involvement in supporting what they describe as genocide. One veteran stated, “None of this could happen without U.S. military support—whether direct arms shipments, diplomatic cover, or the massive U.S. fleet stationed around Israel."

Vice President Harris, now the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, has reaffirmed unconditional support for Israel, disappointing those who hoped for a shift in U.S. policy towards the region.
